Common questions

Do I need an account?

No. Daily Back works fully without one, and your data stays on your phone. Sign in with your email if you want your entries backed up and synced, or to get the weekly progress email.

My sign-in code didn't arrive

Check your spam or promotions folder, and make sure the email address is spelled correctly. Codes expire after 10 minutes, so request a new one if it's been longer than that.

How do I connect or disconnect Apple Health?

Turn it on from the Apple Health row in the app's settings. To change what Daily Back can read, go to iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Daily Back.

I'm not getting reminders

Make sure the reminder is turned on in the app, and that notifications are allowed for Daily Back in iPhone Settings → Notifications. Focus modes can also hold notifications back.

Will I lose my data if I get a new phone?

If you're signed in, sign in again on the new phone and your history syncs back. Without an account, your data moves only if you restore the new phone from an iCloud or computer backup.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Profile → Account → Delete account and enter the code we email you. This permanently deletes your account and all of its data. If you can't get into the app, email us from your account's address and we'll do it for you.

Is Daily Back medical advice?

No. It's a habit and tracking tool and doesn't replace a doctor or physical therapist. If your pain is severe, getting worse, or comes with numbness, weakness, or trouble controlling your bladder or bowels, get medical care right away.
